God's Rods exists to proclaim the wonderful "good news" or "Gospel," a message to all the world proclaiming eternal life through the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the cross. It is God Himself demonstrating His love for us by taking our due penalty for sins upon Himself. Scripture says, "Jesus is the physical manifestation of the invisible God!" And God became a man, just so that He could offer His own life, and then take it back up again in resurrection. "This is life eternal," Jesus said, and "No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus went to the cross the very next day, the innocent "Lamb of God" offered up His precious life to pay the sin penalty we all deserve!
Friend... Jesus asks that we would believe and receive Him in sight of these truths, knowing our guilt and shame before our Holy God is an offense to Him, but that He made a way for us to escape divine judgement and eternal Hell. There are no good deeds (works) which are necessary to make our way to Heaven, for God would not have had to send His beloved Son Jesus to die on the cross if that were so. Indeed, His death for sins, His burial and resurrection, were sufficient for the cleansing of all our sins, past, present and future. "Believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved" the scripture says!
